Baby Landon Update: 34 Weeks

How Far Along: 34 Weeks

Size of Baby: About 4 3/4 pounds(was 4.1 at 31 weeks though according to the ultrasound so I guess these meansurements are totally off now) and 18 inches long
Food Size (According to my e-mail from BabyCenter.com): Cantaloupe
Total Weight Gain: Ok so I totally forgot to weigh myself this morning. I regularly put weight on when I visit my parents so weighing in next week should NOT be very fun! I'd just go weigh myself now, but it's the afternoon and we just treated outselves to milkshakes.
Maternity Clothes: I've actually had to make myself look somewhat presentable being around people on a daily basis here in Florida and luckily it hasn't been too terrible finding clothes. I did however steal one of my mom's bras and can breath again in her 36C... my 36 As were strangling me! I think I have an investment to make before I leave town!!!
Gender: It's a BOY! Landon Brennan Lutz
Movement: Just when I said it was getting normal, and I was used to it Landon threw me for a loop. He has been insane in my belly during the nights this week. My mom and sisters have gotten to enjoy quite a show at night while we lay in bed and watch Landon roll all around.
Food Cravings: It's hard to crave something when there are constantly sweets around this house... i'm eating it before I even have a chance to crave it
Labor Signs: I am SOOO paranoid being across the country from my husband... you have NO idea! Of course i've continued to have lots of pelvic pressure and truly feel like he could come out at any second. Trying to realize every pregnant person feels this at 34 weeks and i'm sure he's still nice and happy in there :)
How’s Ryder Handling It: He is WAY to busy with his Aunties to be paying any attention to Mommy's growing belly at this point.
What is the same/different as the last time:
Same: Hip pain, ready for it to be over, anticipation, acid reflux Different: Sharp pelvic pressure, pain in the ribs,
Symptoms: The Prevacid has worked wonders for my acid reflux. My hips have even gotten a little better. I'm not sure what that lady did at the one physical therapy appointment, but I haven't done any of the exercises and it's been better. The pelvic pain though is awful. I feel like someone punched me... maybe Landon lol.
Best Moment This Week: Hanging with family... enjoying our last visit with just one!
What I Am Looking Forward To: One last week in Florida and then getting back to Derrik to prepare for our final countdown to Landon :)
Doctors Appointment: Had to cancel this week since we are in Florida. We fly back next Wednesday and have an appointment on Friday.

Boating

We've been getting our fare share of time in the water since we've been in Florida, and today wasn't any different. We took my parents boat out into the gulf and it was amazing out. One of my sisters told Ryder we were going to see dolphins, and he just kept saying "me go on boat and see dolphin". I"m pretty sure he had NO clue what a dolphin even was, but he was determined we were going to see one...

Looking for a dolphin Uncle Ryan had just spotted
There it is
Auntie Hailey
Uncle Ryan and Ryder testing out the water
My parents enjoying their boat in March... can't do that in Cape Cod :)
So glad they moved to Florida!
My sisters, brother, and I... a rare shot to get the four of us together
Hailey and her best friend Emily
Uncle Ryan likes to do anything crazy he possibly can with Ryder
Uncle Ryan coaxing Ryder into some deeper darker water
There he goes
Some daddy-daughter time
Once again Uncle Ryan being crazy...
Ryder said his feet hurt because of the shells so he carried him like this.
Ryder actually loved it and was laughing like crazy
Ryder loves Auntie Ally and has been getting lots of smiles out of her even though she doesn't feel good :)
Uncle Ryan being obnoxious once again... trying to splash Grammy
Ryder decided he wanted to jump off
There he goes
Our brother the boater :) Love Him... even if he does drive us crazy!

Great day on the water! Thanks for taking us Uncle Ryan.... we love you :)

Ally's 13th Birthday

Yesterday was Ally's 13th birthday! I can't believe my baby girl is a teenager. Unfortunatley her Lyme's Disease has been really awful on her lately and has had her out of school pretty much since they have moved to Florida. We tried our best to make her day as good as possible. Since she can't do much we decided to have Sophia and her Mommy Amanda over so we could watch the kids have some fun in the pool. It's hard not to smile a little with how cute the two of them are!!!

Baking Ally a cake in the morning

How can you not smile with the two of them at your party?
About to go for the jump...
And he's in! The boy loves the pool!!!
Trying to get Sophia to come jump with him.
She's really wasn't a fan

Major Catch Up Post!

WOW! I am so behind in blogging!!! I don't know if i've lost interest or what, but we've had lots going on. I'm going to try to shove it all into one quick summary post.

We've gotten to have some fun get-togethers with our baseball friends. I've been really bad with the camera when we are together, but luckily my friend Heather has been great at snapping some pictures when we are together.

At the park

At the fountains in Verrado

Pool Time
He lovedddd how high Chris could throw him in the pool!!!
Some iPhone pictures...

Chilling at home
Fell asleep on accident when we missed nap one day
Relaxing watching some t.v.
My friend Tricia was so sweet and offered to throw a baby shower for Mr. Landon. A few of us girls got together on Sunday morning to enjoy a little time together. We played some fun games, ate some amazing cake, and we got some of the sweetest gifts from the girls. It was a great morning to spend with Tricia and my wonderful baseball friends.
Holding Baby Nash (The Denove's baby) playing a game
The Yummy Cake
A belly shot
The day of the baby shower was a LONG day for us... we headed to the baseball game right after. Derrik wanted to make sure Ryder got to a game before we headed out of town. We got there in the fourth inning and Ryder actually sat and watched until the game was over! He walked up and down the aisles some and played on the steps, but didn't make us get up and chase him at all or anything. I think he's ready to start watching Daddy at games soon... we can't wait for him to be healthy!
Tuesday morning Ryder and I headed to Florida. It was a last minute trip. Ally's birthday was on Thursday and she asked for Ryder and I as her birthday present. Nice huh?!?! I was beyond nervous traveling acrosst he country 33 weeks pregnant with a toddler, but Ryder once again was an amazing traveler. I don't know why i'm always nervous with him because he's always great. I think he likes how much attention I actually give to him the whole day. I am so glad my parents moved back to Florida! We've really enjoyed our last couple of days here!!!
My little man sleeping on the plane
Swimming with Auntie Hailey
Today we were at lunch and Ryder was absolutley giddy over my mom's friend Emily. I have never seen him hug on someone like this. Miss Emily is 5 years old... Ryder really likes older woman!
I'll save the photos from Ally's birthday yesterday for a post of it's own, but figured we'd get everyone caught up. I'm hoping i'm a better blogger once Landon comes along!!!

Baby Landon Update: 33 Weeks

How Far Along: 33 Weeks

Size of Baby: A little over 4 pounds(was 4.1 at 31 weeks though according to the ultrasound so I guess these meansurements are totally off now) and passed the 17 in mark

Food Size (According to my e-mail from BabyCenter.com): A pineapple

Total Weight Gain: 32 pounds... first week with a 3 pounds weight gain. Thanks for sending the cake and cookies home with me from the shower Tricia!

Maternity Clothes: Moving to a nudist colony soon... clothes are over rated and so uncomfortable!

Gender: It's a BOY! Landon Brennan Lutz

Movement: I think it's become so normal to me now that I feel it more without thinking about it. I think he's still moving like crazy though :)

Food Cravings: I'm over the idea of food right now, but am always picking at something.

Labor Signs: Nope... braxton hicks

How’s Ryder Handling It: He's good... excited for Baby Landon

What is the same/different as the last time:

Same: Hip pain, ready for it to be over, anticipation, acid reflux
Different: Pressure, pain in the ribs, severe acid reflux

Symptoms: All the same symptoms, but this week my acid reflux was awful. I had it with Ryder and this time, but never bad enough to do anythign about. The past week it's been awful, and I called to see if I could do anything. Started taking Prevacid last night and it already is completely gone!

Best Moment This Week: I really enjoyed my baby shower on Sunday :) Thanks girls! I'll get a post up soon with a few pictures.

What I Am Looking Forward To: Time with the family... we're in Florida! I'll get a post up on this soon too!

Doctors Appointment: No doctors apointment this week, but did go to a physical therapy appointment this week. Since I went though it's been complete chaos in our life, and I haven't had a chance to do any of the stuff they gave me.

Baby Landon Update: 32 Weeks

How Far Along: 32 Weeks

Size of Baby: 3.75 pounds (was 4.1 last week though according to the ultrasound so I guess these meansurements are totally off now) and 16.7 inches long.

Food Size (According to my e-mail from BabyCenter.com): A large jicama

Total Weight Gain: 29 pounds

Maternity Clothes: It is what it is... just squeezing into whatever is around. So not buying stuff right now.

Gender: It's a BOY! Landon Brennan Lutz

Movement: yes! gosh it's painful... except at night when it's just insane how much he moves!! That is when it's somewhat enjoyable to sit and feel. During the day though it's just lots of pain from it all.

Food Cravings: Nope

Labor Signs: negative... lots of braxton hicks all day every day, but I think we still have quite a few more weeks until I'll start to feel the real thing.

How’s Ryder Handling It: Ya know he's really coming around lately. He's very proud of talk about "baby brother" or "baby Landon". He helped me build the crib this week and is very excited for baby Landon to sleep in it. He takes his baby Landon doll and changes his diaper every day. It's so cute how he lifts legs for me to put the diaper on. He knows that Landon is going to come "out of da belly at the hospital". He thinks this is cool because our doctors office is attached to the hospital, and he likes riding in the glass elevator with Daddy.

What is the same/different as the last time:

Same: Hip pain, ready for it to be over, anticipation

Different: Pressure, pain in the ribs

Symptoms: The same as last week wit the hip pain, pressure, braxton hicks, and honeslty i'm just getting exhausted. I'm huge!

Best Moment This Week: ummm.... nothing really crazy this week.

What I Am Looking Forward To: My sweet friend Tricia is throwing Landon and I a little baby shower this weekend with a couple of the baseball girls on Sunday. I can't wait to spend some time with the girls and enjoy a day all for the little man :)
Doctors Appointment: Posting this a little late because we had a rough afternoon after our appointment yesterday which made me not finish it up to get it posted. Anyhow... the appointment went good. Landon and I are both still healthy and right on track. They said his weight according to the ultrasound put him in the 79th percentile. They said they don't pay much attention unless it's in the 90th percentile. We had lots more talk about the hip pain. They are interested in doing xrays to check things out and are supposed to be having the physical therapy place call me today to get things set up. I'm not exactly sold on the physical therapy thing. I feel like it always causes more pain before it gets better and given such a short period of time it seems pointless, but they were pretty insistent it would help a lot. We'll see what they say when they call. Two more weeks and we'll be back again...

Look What We Found!!!

I was going through baby stuff today, and found three of Ryder's old pacifiers in the baby bag. I thought it would be funny to show him them since he has seen some little ones we've bought for Landon and sees some of our baby friends with them.

We got this funny picture
Then he narrowed it down to one, got his blankies, and decided to curl up on the couch!
Dumb Mommy Points for this one right here! He cried hysterically when I took them away. I had to break into my secret candy stash to make him my friend again!
