Derrik received news late last night that he will be moving up to play with the Bakersfield Blaze.
The Blaze are located in Bakersfield, California. The Reds have done a lot of moving around with their teams over the years.... So a little recap for those who have followed Derrik over the years....
Billings MO (Rookie) - where he was currently at
Dayton OH (Low-A) played in '06
Bakersfield CA (High A) the equivalent of the Sarasota team Derrik played for in '07
Zebulon NC (AA) where Derrik last played in '09 before he got hurt. Played for their AA team in Chattanooga TN in '08 as well before they switched affiliations.
Louisville KY (AAA)
Cincinnati OH (Majors)
One more step to get back to where he was at!! Best of luck babe! We're cheering you on, and get your butt back to the east coast so we can visit you!!
