Memorial Day

We had such an amazing Memorial Day! It was about as picture perfect as it gets (minus the whole Derrik not being here thing... is it obvious at this point or do I need to keep reminding everyone how much I miss him?!) We started our day out by making some home-made waffles, then we blew up our kiddie pool we bought, and spent the day outside play in the pool, sliding down the slide with water on it, running though the sprinkler, playing with water guns, and getting some sun! It was so amazing!!! We then laid Ryder down for a nap, went to the pond for a bit, came home, cooked steak for dinner, made a fire, cooked smores, and on our way to take Jenny home got ice cream :) That is my kind of day right there!!!
