Heading in
When they took me back to see if I was going to be admitted they made me go back by myself. I wasn't thrilled because I tend to not stick up for myself and wanted them to understand just how fast Ryder came. Apparently you are a different person when you are in pain because as soon as the lady came into the room I told her I was having an identical start to labor as I did with my first born and that it was a disaster, I had to do it natural, and that our doctor almost didn't make it. She took me seriously, immediately got my IV started so the epidural could be put in soon, and had everything rushed as quick as possible. I was 6cm as soon as they checked me which I think helped some in convincing them!
By the time we got into the room the contractions were intense. I would describe them as a 10 on a scale of 10 except I experienced natural childbirth last time and a true 10 is a pain I never even knew existed until I had Ryder and was glad I wouldn't be again. They got my IV in, everything hooked up, and then put in the amazing epidural. It felt like the slightest poke and was my new favorite invention in the whole world! What an a-m-a-z-i-n-g thing!!! They then checked me and said I was 10cm! They said they were going to wait it out a little while and let my body naturally push him down.
Ready to go and so thankful for the epidural :)
This would be my husband napping because we had to "wait". It was about 30 minute between when they said I was 10cm, and they decided to actually get him out. Who elses huband naps when they are 10cm?!
After watching my contractions peak to the top of the screen for those thirty minutes they decided to see if Landon had made his way down. Our nuse was like "oh wow... he's literally right there!" She asked me to scoot up in the bed and then freaked out telling me to stop. She told me to not move until the doctor got in the room because she didn't want to deliver Landon. I laughed, and she told me not to because it was pushing him out more! The doctor made his way into the room, I pushed about half a push, and Landon Brennan Lutz made his grand entrance into this world!

So happy!

He's already so in love :) Makes me love him even more

We waited a few minutes for the doctor to finish up and for the room to get de-cluttered of nurses all around, and it was time for big brother to come! Tricia was sweet enough to pick Ally and him up and luckily didn't have to wait long to get in the room to see us.His first glance that Baby Landon was out of Mommy's belly
His excitement level lasted about two minutes, and he was off to play with toys and inspect the room
After some time visiting with our friends everyone headed home after an exciting morning... we were all a little exhausted! We were switched from the birthing room into another private room where we would remain for the rest of our stay. The rest of the day consisted of Landon's bath, the pediatrician checking him out, lots of nurses checking on us non stop, and getting acquainted with our little man. Everything so far has checked out perfect on the both of us. They were slightly concerned about Ryder being "tongue-tied" (the thing under his tongue connecting to far out). Yesterday at the pediatricians office we had this clipped. It made him sad for about a minute and it was over.

He's kinda proud :)
Don't expect any quality brother photos anytime soon! Ryder gives us about two seconds
