Sledding

This morning the snow had stopped falling, the skies were blue, and most importantly... school was cancelled!!! Our family got all bundled up and headed out for some breakfast and then some sledding! We went to the local golf course that everyone likes to sled on and had ourselves one heck of a time! Ryder l-o-v-e-d it. We were out there for probably over two hours and he never once fussed, at one point his boot even fell off and he could care less. He loved going down all the hills, laughed when he fell with Derrik, and even enjoyed just sitting at the top of the hill watching the older kids. It was such a great day!

Just to make everyone jealous who doesn't get to enjoy Cape Cod year round!

After sledding Derrik got on the road to Pennsylvania. We had such a great weekend with him, but were sad to see him leave so quick again. He is going to spend tomorrow and part of Wednesday with his family celebrating Christmas before he heads back to us for Christmas. On a happy note, Uncle Ryan got into town today! We all just had an amazing dinner. I can't remember the last time just my parents, four siblings, and I (and of course Ryder now) ate dinner alone together :) It's been an amazing few days!!!
