Let It Snow... Let It Snow... Let It Snow!

We kept hearing the snow was coming, but were sad all day yesterday when all our east coast friends and family were putting up their pictures of the snow, and we were still not seeing any signs of it. My hubby was checking the radar all day yesterday and was getting sad it wasn't going to come! As we walked out of the mall last night (first time the both of us were out of the house without Ryder since we moved to Arizona at the end of August!), we saw the first flakes falling!!! By the time we got home their was quite a dusting and the ground was covered when we went to bed!!! This morning we had well over twelve inches!

Ryder checking to see what was going on outside!
"Did it snow Ryder?!"
Yes it did!
We couldn't hold back any longer... so we started bundling him up...
"Don't take pictures of me in these ugly pants!"
We let him play in between layers to keep him in good spirits :)
"Mom I can't wait!"
All bundled up and ready to go play in the snow!

Ally and I hanging out in the snow
That wall you can barely see behind us is like four feet tall!!!
Grandpa shoveling the snow that fell into the garage back out
Ally, Hailey, Danielle, Ryder, and Derrik
Burrrrr!!!
We survived our first trip in the snow as a family of three
"I LOVEDDDDD IT!"
Stripping the layers back off....
Notice all the grocery bags in the background...
Leave it to my family to not shop before a snow storm....
My parents said they were the only people in the store!
Grandpa made us all homemade Belgian waffles while we warmed up :)
(ignore his dorky hat he bought at the grocery store)
Yummmm!
Ryder is now napping... The girls are out for round two in the snow... Derrik, my parents, and I are sitting by the fireplace watching the football games... Dolphins for Grandpa and the Eagles for Derrik at 4... The tree is lit... and the snow isn't showing any signs of letting up anytime soon!!! Hoping for no school for the girls tomorrow so we can go sledding once the wind lets up! It just doesn't get much better then this for the holidays :)

I just love the togetherness that oozes from your whole family. Wish we could be there so my girls could experience snow with such a great family!! We miss you all. Enjoy your time together.
